For immediate release: PSI named a Coerver Academy
Premier Soccer Institute (PSI) is excited to announce that it has become an official partner club of Coerver Coaching.
Regarded as one of the world’s leading youth development programs, Coerver will provide PSI with supports to bring out the best in players, coaches and parents.
“We are absolutely delighted to form this partnership with Coerver and bring its cutting-edge program to our players,” says PSI director and head coach Ray Wright. “This is a fantastic opportunity to help our players achieve their goals and ambitions.”
Founded in the 1970s by Wiel Coerver, a Dutch European Championship winning coach, the program revolutionized soccer coaching. A focus on individual skills led to an exciting brand of attacking game, much to the satisfaction of fans. The early focus was on ball mastery and developing skills, leading to the creation in 1984 of the world-renowned Coerver Coaching.
“Partnering with Coerver is a significant development for our players and coaches,” says Wright. “When you can bring better coaches to the table, you end up with better players. I am confident this will enhance the development of PSI players.”
Premier Soccer Institute is an academy program that provides a high-level environment for players and coaches. Operating from a philosophy of ‘nothing without great effort,’ PSI aims to expand a player’s skill and character, and a love of the game.
